Trulli Pizza & Pasta in Florida

"We were visiting Naples and was recommended Trulli for some really good pizza & pasta - it certainly did NOT disappoint - we were lucky to be served by one of the owners, who gave us the story on their dough and the process to perfect it - all quality ingredients shipped directly from Italy. The quality, taste and services was wonderful and pricing was great for what you received. I only wish i took more photos!"

"A spectacular dining adventure once again with awesome friends! All fresh, homemade pastas and pizza dough. Ceaser salad was wonderful, quite anchovy forward (which was a pleasant surprise). Pasta had broccoli rabe, sausage, pesto, and chili oil… beautiful balance of bitter and heat. Pizza was a meatball & ricotta while the other was sausage & mushroom. Incredible flavor and the dough was perfectly light and airy. Highly recommend dining here!"

"I was in town for business and my wife and I were looking for a perfect little Italian place. We pulled up and chuckled that it’s in between pet stores. The minute we walked in we forgot what was outside. The staff was extremely welcoming and the ambience was quietly casual. The food - amazing. "This…exactly this. I have been searching for this place and I am so happy to have found it. After my previous negative review of Caiman Cantina I am happy to be writing a positive review about this restaurant and the passionate authentic people that make it what it is. Let's start with customer service. It was a Sunday and I wanted to set a time for my wife's birthday that coming Saturday. They are closed on Sunday so I saw on their website you can text to schedule a reservation. The owner actually reached out and set my reservation for me via text on his day off. That is unheard of in almost every industry. I personally would never do that but I have to give props for someone that is willing to do that. It says so much about their dedication. When in the restaurant the service was authentic italian which can be perceived as slower to some but it was not rushed service when they were at our table so its quality communication and attentiveness but will be a little slower pace. Then the owner came by not once but twice to ensure we were happy and just have genuine quality conversation with us which was pleasant and made us feel like a part of the family. We saw this happen with so many customers there and everyone was enjoying themselves and the food and the sense of community that was curated because of it. The food was truly authentic Italian wheat. If you don't know about the difference you should really research it. Basically american wheat is higher glycemic, has been bred with higher gluten, and has been often sprayed with glyphosate to speed up drying. In Italy it is illegal to spray glyphosate and the wheat has been bread with lower gluten and for lower glycemic response. American wheat also has higher Gliadin which isn't good. So from an overall health perspective this is for sure healthier and the funny thing was I didn't experience a carb fog like I usually do when I eat pizza and pasta. Now for the taste. The pasta was cooked al dente so it was very authentic and delicious. We had several pasta dishes and they were all superb. The pizza was tremendous. The crumb on the crust was great. The flavors were great. It would not pass the judges with Roman pizza rules for being able to stand straight out etc but I wasn't there for that. I was there for authentic delicious Italian food and they delivered. My only complaint was that I would love to have more meat. I am a meat eater so a nice steak or chicken breast would have topped this place off for me but to be fair it's called pizza and pasta. The buildout of the resurant was so thoughtful and well executed. The bottom line is this is what we need in our community. Authentic Italian food created by Italians that have carefully crafted a menu that allows you the opportunity to taste flavors from their country without having to hop on a flight. The customers here are predominantly Italians and that says a lot. I will be taking all of my family and friends to this place when they visit and anytime I want to have a solid pasta or pizza dish that won't make me feel bloated and in a carb fog I will be coming here for sure. Thank you to the staff and the owners for such a pleasant night and fantastic meal."

"We stopped in Truli while on our way to South Florida. From the call to reserve a table to the time we left the hospitality was amazing. The food, WOW!!! Absolutely delicious. The pizza crust (made with imported Semolina from Italy) was the best we have ever had. The Ravioli fresh and delicious. The pasta with broccoli rabe, pesto and sausage had a little kick and was unique and delicious. Domineco stopped by our table and shared his Italian background and that it takes five days for the pizza crust to be ready. Praying this restaurant comes to our area. In the meantime we will take a long drive just to come back and enjoy this delicious food!!!"

"Looking to awaken your Italian soul? Here is the place. A small restaurant that served handmade pasta and Ravioli. The focaccia bread basket is a must that you need to order, accompanied with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, which brings the bread to a different level! The meatball is well seasoned, and the pasta is al dente, which is nice to experience this texture outside of Italy. The staff is friendly and values price in comparison to quality. End your dinner with a double shot espresso, it's the way to end your night with Mamamia"
